Savor the Sips and bites of the Season at Steady Pour!
Minneapolis, DECEMBER 11 – Steady Pour, the cozy new cocktail lounge in Northeast, is excited to unveil their updated winter cocktail menu that's sure to elevate your drinking experience. Located in the unsuspecting industrial district on East Hennepin Ave, the bar space fosters feelings of warm hospitality and nostalgia in an inviting, and upscale lounge.
Since opening their bar/restaurant in July, the Steady Pour team has hit their stride and is excited to ring in their first holiday season. Owner, Jeff Seidenstricker and the Steady Pour bar team have quickly made themselves a hidden gem (with lots of parking!). They’ve been hard at work creating a new lineup of handcrafted cocktails - from signature twists on classics (Pickle-tini?!), to festive sips (Rum-Nog Millionaire), there's something for every palate.
As their menu changes seasonally, you can rest assured their philosophy remains – they approach cocktails through a lens of food science and flavor chemistry. Each cocktail has depth and dimension that leads to a surprising first sip.
Chefs Jorge Guzmán and Jacob Schumack Have You Covered
Complementing the cocktails is a full food menu created by James Beard Nominated Chef Jorge Guzmán (Petite León, Sueño, and forthcoming Chilango), and is executed in-house by Steady Pour’s own Chef Jacob Schumack (formally of Gigi’s Café). The pair collaborated over the summer during Guzmán’s consultation, creating a menu meant to be shared and snacked over good cocktails and conversation.
Fan favorites include pillowy popovers, steak tartare, and pork sugo pappardelle. The newest salad on the menu – Mangos & Amigos has a layered mix of citrus, pickled mangoes, and savory pistachio notes. While we highly recommend swinging in for a happy hour bite, don’t be a stranger – stay for dinner! With several entrée options and a variety of small plates, you’ll leave with a full belly and a happy heart.
While they do not take reservations, the bar/restaurant has several 10-foot tables to host larger groups for walk-in service. Steady Pour also offers semi-private dining for parties that are looking for more space to spread out, but don’t need a full venue or buyout (dinner parties, birthdays, celebrations, receptions and corporate parties).
Getting There:
Steady Pour is open weekly Wednesday – Saturday 4pm-10pm. There is a large, free parking lot off East Hennepin Ave. in front of the building. Steady Pour’s “front door” is located around the corner of the building on the north side. Look for their green metal stairs and neon sign. There’s no password or other gimmick, just a surprising entrance to a soon-to-be favorite spot.
