Job Description:

The Host is the first and last impression of Steady Pour. We are seeking individuals who understand that hospitality begins at the door. The Host plays a pivotal role in setting the tone for the entire guest journey. We’re looking for someone personable, professional, and organized, who thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and seat guests with warmth and efficiency.

  • Manage reservations and guest flow through Opentable.

  • Work under the direction of the Service Manager

  • Maintain communication with management and service staff.

  • Support overall service as needed.

Qualifications:

  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude, as well as a desire to learn and develop new skills.

  • Superb communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

  • Able to work in a standing/walking position for long periods of time.

  • Ability to demonstrate quick thinking and adaptability in a constantly changing environment.

Requirements:

  • Prior hosting experience in a busy, full-service restaurant preferred. Experience with Opentable is a plus. 

  • Excellent multitasking skills.

  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor.

  • Friday & Saturday evenings required. 

  • Must be able to lift ~40 pounds and work on your feet for extended periods of time.

Compensation:

This is a part-time role (~20 hours/week, 2–3 shifts/week, $21/hour).

Bartender

shifts available immediately: 

Steady Pour is hiring a bartender for our brick & mortar location in Northeast Minneapolis. This is not a bar catering or banquet position.

This is a part-time role (~20 hours/week, 2–3 shifts/week, $17/hour) suited for someone who is experienced, self-directed, and fully capable of handling volume without losing composure. 

You should be comfortable in the weeds, decisive behind the bar, and confident in your ability to run a shift cleanly and efficiently. Cocktail knowledge is a plus, but practical experience, awareness, and strong fundamentals matter as much and more.

We’re looking for someone who shows up prepared, communicates clearly, and takes responsibility for the entire room—not just their station. Reliability and consistency matter to us, as does the ability to stay positive, support your team without being asked, and deliver hospitality that is genuine, attentive, and felt by every guest.
